Warner Music Norway has released a soundtrack album for the animated feature North. The album features the film’s original music composed by Raymond Enoksen (Atlantic Crossing, Ice Road Rescue, Hammarskjöld, Outlier, Haunted). The soundtrack is now available to stream on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first and final track below. Available separately as a digital single is Maria Arredondo’s original song Finding You from the movie. North is directed by Bente Lohne and features the voices of Mads Mikkelsen, Jennifer Lynn Wilson, RJ Navarra Balde and Brianna Fernandez. The movie inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen tells the story of a young woman who sets off into the great unknown in search of her friend who has mysteriously vanished and – on her journey – makes friends with people, beasts, birds, and a kind witch, unaware that a hostile enemy and her devil apprentice is watching her. The animated adventure just opened in Nordic markets last month. No word yet on a domestic release date.
