Hippocampus has released a soundtrack album for the French psychological thriller A Private Life (Vie privée). The album features the film’s original music composed by Rob (aka Robin Coudert) (Revenge, Gretel & Hansel, ManiacNever Let Go, Other People’s Children, HornsAmityville: The Awakening, Planetarium, Troy: Fall of a City). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. A Private Life is co-written and directed by Rebecca Zlotowski and stars Jodie Foster, Daniel Auteuil, Virginie Efira, Mathieu Amalric, Vincent Lacoste and Luana Bajrami. The movie revolves around a renowned psychiatrist who mounts a private investigation into the death of one of her patients, whom she is convinced has been murdered. The thriller, which premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, is opening in French theaters today and is set to be released in select U.S. theaters on January 16, 2026 by Sony Pictures Classics.
