Composer Christophe Beck (Frozen, Ant-Man, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, WandaVision, Edge of Tomorrow, Free Guy, The Pink Panther, The Hangover, The Muppets) is reuniting with director Harald Zwart (The Karate Kid, Agent Cody Banks) on the upcoming animated adventure comedy ViQueens. The film marks Zwart’s animated feature debut and stars Rita Ora, Ella Purnell. Steve Speirs, Anton Lesser and Alan Carr. The movie tells the story of two fearless Viking girls as they defy tradition to return a stowaway boy to China. Veslemoey Zwart is producing the Sola Media production for Zwart Arbeid. Beck has previously collaborated with Zwart on 2018’s The 12th Man. ViQueens is scheduled to be released in Norwegian theaters on December 26, 2026. (Deadline)
