Nathan Matthew David (Joy Ride, Young Rock, The Brothers Sun, Deadly Class, Chang Can Dunk, Stephen Curry: Underrated, The Last Word, Slice) has been hired to score DreamWorks Animation’s upcoming feature Forgotten Island. The film is directed by Joel Crawford (The Croods: A New Age) & Januel Mercado (Puss in Boots: The Last Wish) and features the voices of H.E.R., Liza Soberano, Dave Franco, Lea Salonga, Manny Jacinto and Jenny Slate. The movie tells the story of two lifelong best friends who find themselves stranded on the fantastic world of the forgotten island of Nakali, where they find that their only way home might come at the expense of a lifetime of memories and emotions. Mark Swift (Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie) is producing the project. Forgotten Island will be released in theaters nationwide on September 25, 2026 by Universal Pictures.
