John Williams is reteaming with Steven Spielberg on the director’s next, currently untitled, event feature. Damian Woetzel, president of Juilliard School, has revealed at an event celebrating Williams’ work last night, that the composer is currently working on the film, which stars Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Colman Domingo, Eve Hewson and Wyatt Russell. David Koepp (Jurassic Park, Spider-Man) wrote the screenplay based on a story by Spielberg who is also producing the Amblin Entertainment production with Kristie Macosko Krieger (West Side Story, Ready Player One). No plot details have been announced yet. The project will mark Williams’ & Spielberg’s 30th feature collaboration. The untitled film is scheduled to be released in theaters nationwide on June 12, 2026 by Universal Pictures.
