Deutsche Grammophon has released a soundtrack album for the French fantasy adventure comedy Kaamelott: The Second Chapter: Part 1 (Kaamelott – Deuxième Volet: Partie 1). The album features the film’s original music composed by director/actor Alexandre Astier who previously scored 2021’s first installment and performed by the Orchestre National de Lyon. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. A CD version and vinyl edition is also being released in France. Listen to a track from the score after the jump. Kaamelott: The Second Chapter: Part 1 is written and directed by Astier and stars Astier himself, Anouk Grinberg, Lionnel Astier and Anne Girouard. The movie follows Arthur who – after the destruction of Kaamelott – gathers his Knights, reckless novices and disillusioned veterans, around the New Round Table and sends them to prove their worth to the four corners of the World. The sequel just opened in French theaters this past Wednesday. The second part of Chapter 2 is set to be released in 2026.
