Caleb Chan & Brian Chan (North of North, The Thundermans Return, Allegiance, The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish,Panhandle, Pinecone & Pony, 50 Stages of Fright) have been tapped to score the new CBS drama Boston Blue. The show stars Donnie Wahlberg who reprises his role of NYPD officer Danny Reagan from CBS’ Blue Bloods, as well as Sonequa Martin-Green, Maggie Lawson, Mika Amonson, Marcus Scribner, Gloria Reuben and Ernie Hudson. The series follows Reagan as he takes a position with Boston PD and is paired with the eldest daughter of a prominent law enforcement family. Brandon Sonnier & Brandon Margolis (L.A.’s Finest) are the project’s showrunners and are also executive producing the CBS Studios production with Jerry Bruckheimer (Top Gun, Pirates of the Carribbean), KristieAnne Reed (Lucifer, CSI: Vegas) and Wahlberg. The composers have previously collaborated with Sonnier & Maargolis on the second and third season of Fox’s Alert: Missing Persons Unit. Boston Blue will premiere next Friday, October 17 on CBS and will also be available to stream on Paramount+.
