Madam is created by Shoshana McCallum & Harry McNaughton based on the memoir by Antonia Murphy and stars Rachel Griffiths, Martin Henderson, Rima Te Wiata, Danielle Cormack, Ariaña Osborne and Robbie Magasiva. The comedy drama revolves around a determined mother of two who – following the discovery of her husband’s affair with a sex worker – finds inspiration to embark on a new entrepreneurial journey by opening her own ethical, feminist brothel. The series premiered in New Zealand last summer on ThreeNow and just premiered in the UK on Netflix.
