Nonesuch Records will release the official soundtrack album for the psychological drama After the Hunt. The album features selections of the film’s original score written, arranged, produced, performed, programmed and mixed by Academy Award winners Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Soul, Challengers, Watchmen, Bones and All, Queer), as well as multiple recordings by composer John Adams. Also included is a selection of songs featured in the movie by Tony Bennett & Bill Evans, The National, Everything but the Girl, among others. The soundtrack is expected to be released digitally this Friday, October 10 and physically on November 14. After the Hunt is directed by Luca Guadagnino and stars Julia Roberts, Andrew Garfield, Ayo Edebiri, Michael Stuhlbarg and Chloë Sevigny. The movie written by Nora Garrett follows a college professor who finds herself at a personal and professional crossroads when a star student levels an accusation against one of her colleagues and a dark secret from her own past threatens to come into the light. The drama premiered at this year’s Venice Film Festival and will be released in select theaters this Friday, October 3 by Amazon MGM Studios before expanding nationwide on October 10.
