MovieScore Media has released a soundtrack album for the Swedish limited series Faithless (Trolösa). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed and conducted by Hans Ek (Se upp för Jönssonligan). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first track (David) after the jump. Faithless is written by Sara Johnsen, directed by Tomas Alfredson (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Let the Right One In) and stars Frida Gustavsson, Gustav Lindh, August Wittgenstein, Jesper Christensen, Lena Endre and Poppy Klintenberg Hardy. The drama is based on Ingmar Bergman’s classic and explores the relationship between a renowned director and his former great love, actress who reunite in their 70s and are forced to confront the painful repercussions of their past relationship. The series premiered on Swedish television this past January and in other European markets over the last couple of months. No word yet on a domestic release date.
