Atresmedia Música has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish TV series Mar Afuera. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Víctor Elías & Jaime Vaquero (La Agencia). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to the composers’ title track below. Mar Afuera is based on the Italian TV series The Sea Beyond (Mare fuori) and stars Gabriel Guevara, Hugo Welzel, Laura Simón, Carles Francino, Raúl Prieto and Boré Buika. The drama follows two recent arrivals at a juvenile detention center perched by the sea, where they are forced to contend with the constant threat posed by a gang, all while clinging to the faint of hope for a better future. The series premiered in Spain last month on Atresplayer and Disney+.
