Back Lot Music will release a soundtrack album for the sci-fi adventure Long Distance. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Steven Price (Gravity, Our PlanetFury, Last Night in Soho, Over the Moon, Suicide SquadBaby Driver, Heads of State, The World’s End). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 26 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first track (Distant) below. Long Distance is directed by Will Speck & Josh Gordon and stars Anthony Ramos, Naomi Scott, Zachary Quinto and Kristofer Hivju. The movie tells the story of an asteroid miner who crash-lands on an alien planet and must contend with the challenges of his new surroundings, while making his way to the only other survivor – a woman who is trapped in her escape pod. The DreamWorks Pictures & Reliance Entertainment production, which was originally scheduled to be released theatrically by Universal Pictures, premiered in the U.S. this past July on Hulu.
