Silva Screen Records will release a soundtrack album for the new ITV drama The Hack. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout & Dead Reckoning, Black Widow, Bad Boys for Life, The Wheel of Time, Top Gun: Maverick, His Dark Materials, Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, Black Adam) & Joshua Pacey. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 24 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon, Also listen to the composers’ first and final track below. The Hack is created by Jack Thorne and stars David Tennant, Robert Carlyle, Toby Jones, Rose Leslie, Dougray Scott, Eve Myles, Adrian Lester, Katherine Kelly, Neil Maskell, Pip Torrens, Kevin Doyle, Lara Pulver, Lee Ingleby and Steve Pemberton. The 7-parter tells the real life stories of investigative journalist Nick Davies who uncovered evidence of phone hacking at the News of the World, and – running parallel – the investigation into private investigator Daniel Morgan’s unsolved murderThe series will premiere tomorrow in the UK tomorrow on ITV (and ITVX) and in Australia on Stan. No word yet on a domestic premiere date.
