Amboss Recordings has released a soundtrack album for the second season of the German TV series Oktoberfest: Beer & Blood (Oktoberfest 1905). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by by Michael Klaukien (Goebbels and the Fuhrer, I Am Scrooge, Vares: The Sheriff, Tatort). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out the track list. 2 Lane Records has previously released an album featuring Klaukien’s score from the first season, entitled Oktoberfest 1900, back in 2020. Oktoberfest 1905 is created by Alexis von Wittgenstein & Ronny Schalk, directed by Stephan Lacant and stars Klaus Steinbacher, Mercedes Müller, Mišel Matičević, Martina Gedeck, Lisa Maria Potthoff and Brigitte Hobmeier. The drama takes place five years after the events of the first season (which is currently available in most major markets on Netflix) as the battle between the brewery clans continues. The new season just premiered on German television last night. No word yet on a domestic release.
