Thesis & Instinct Records will release a soundtrack album for the romantic thriller Plainclothes. The album features the film’s original music composed by singer/songwriter Emily Wells who has made her feature scoring debut on the project. The soundtrack will released digitally this Friday, September 19 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Wells’ original song My San Francisco is already available to stream/download as a digital single now and can also be checked out after the jump. Plainclothes is written and directed by Carmen Emmi and stars Russell Tovey, Tom Blyth, Amy Forsyth, Maria Dizzia, Christian Cooke and Gabe Fazio. The movie is set in 1990s Syracuse and follows a promising undercover officer assigned to lure and arrest gay men who defies orders when he falls in love with a target.The thriller premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and will be released in New York on September 19 by Magnolia Pictures before expanding to more markets in the coming weeks.
