Ariel Marx (Dying for Sex, Shiva Baby, Sanctuary, A Small Light, Happy Face, Birth/Rebirth, The Tale) is scoring the upcoming Hulu limited series Murdaugh: Death in the Family. The show is created by Michael D. Fuller (Quarry) & Erin Lee Carr (I Love You, Now Die, Mommy Dead and Dearest) inspired by the popular Murdaugh Murders Podcast and stars Jason Clarke, Patricia Arquette, Johnny Berchtold, Will Harrison, Brittany Snow and J. Smith-Cameron. The 8-part crime drama tells the story of Maggie & Alex Murdaugh who enjoy a lavish life of privilege as members of one of South Carolina’s most powerful legal dynasties as they are faced with a test unlike any they’ve ever encountered when their son is involved in a deadly boat crash. Fuller, Lee Carr, Clarke & Arquette are also executive producing the UCP production with Eat the Cat’s Nick Antosca (The Act, Channel Zero) & Alex Hedlund (Chucky), Mandy Matney, David Moses and Bill Johnson (One of Us Is Lying).
