Dubois Records will release a soundtrack album for the boxing drama The Cut. The album features the film’s original music composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout & Dead ReckoningBlack Widow, His Dark Materials, Bad Boys for LifeTop Gun: MaverickBeverly Hills Cop: Axel F) & Stuart Michael Thomas  (Midnight BayouBustin’ Down the Door, Northern Lights, Blue Smoke). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 5 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to two tracks from the composers’ score below. The Cut is directed by Sean Ellis and stars Orlando Bloom, John Turturro, Caitríona Balfe, Gary Beadle, Ed Kear and Clare Dunne. The movie follows a former champion who is obsessed with getting back in the ring and goes through an unsanctioned and grueling weight cut program with a coach who knows no limits. The drama premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival and is being released in select U.S. theaters this coming weekend by Republic Pictures and is also opening in UK theaters tomorrow.
