MovieScore Media has released a soundtrack album for the Australian/New Zealand psychological drama Went Up the Hill. The album features the film’s original music composed by Hanan Townshend (Knight of Cups, To the Wonder, The Long Game, Semper Fi, The Vessel, Blue Miracle, Outcry). Also included is the title song written and performed by lead actress Vicky Krieps. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Went Up the Hill is co-written and directed by Samuel Van Grinsven and also stars Dacre Montgomery, Sarah Peirse, Arlo Green and Finlay Grey. The movie follows a man who travels to New Zealand to attend the funeral of his estranged mother, where he meet her grieving widow, when his mother’s ghost returns to inhabit both of them. The drama , which premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival, was released in select theaters last month by Greenwich Entertainment and is set to be released on DVD on October 28.
