Steve Jablonsky (TransformersThe Island,  Ender’s Game, Deepwater Horizon, Lone Survivor, SkyscraperDC League of Super-Pets, Desperate Housewives) has composed the original score for the upcoming action thriller Motor City. The film is directed by Potsy Ponciroli (Old Henry, Greedy People) and stars Alan Ritchson, Shailene Woodley, Pablo Schreiber, Ben Foster, Ben McKenzie, Lionel Boyce and Amar Chadha-Patel. The movie follows a ’70s-era everyman who is framed by a ruthless local gangster and emerges from prison determined to reclaim his life by any means necessary. Chad St. John (London Has Fallen, Peppermint) wrote the screenplay. Greg Silverman (Dead of Winter, Space Cadet) and Jon Berg (Elf, Doctor Sleep) are producing the Stampede Ventures production. As previously reported, Jack White serves as the project’s music director. Motor City will premiere tomorrow at the Venice Film Festival and will also screen next month at the Toronto International Film Festival.
