Intrada Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1961 biographical drama The Outsider directed by Delbert Mann and starring Tony Curtis (as United States Marine Ira Hayes), James Franciscus, Gregory Walcott, Bruce Bennett and Vivian Nathan. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Leonard Rosenman (Star Trek IV: The Voyage HomeBeneath The Planet of the Apes, RoboCop 2,Fantastic VoyageLord of the Rings, Rebel Without a Cause, East of Eden), as well as alternates and unused tracks. The CD is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release. The Outsider is now available on DVD.
