Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the French drama Trial by Fire (L’épreuve du feu). The album features the film’s original music composed by Maud Geffray (Split, I Swear, Southern Belle). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track below. Trial by Fire is written and directed by Aurélien Peyre and stars Félix Lefebvre, Anja Verderosa, and Suzanne Jouannet. The movie revolves around a 19-year old on his yearly summer vacation at his family’s home on an Atlantic island as he becomes the center of attention when he arrives accompanied by his girlfriend and having undergone a physical transformation. The drama just opened in French theaters last Wednesday. No word yet on a domestic release.
