HerbX GmbH & Co. Verlags-KG has released a soundtrack album for the the German western parody The Canoe of Manitu (Das Kanu des Manitu). The album features the film’s original score composed by Ralf Wengenmayr (Love, Rosie, Balloon, Where’s Wanda?, Hotel Lux) who previously scored the original 2001 hit movie Manitou’s Shoe (Der Schuh des Manitu). The soundtrack is now is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s title track after the jump. As previously reported, the songs from the movie track written by Stefan Rabb have been released separately as a digital single. The Canoe of Manitu is co-written and directed by Michael Bully Herbig and stars Herbig, Christian Tramitz, Rick Kavanian, Jasmin Schwiers, Jessica Schwarz, Friedrich Mücke, Tutty Tran, Daniel Zillmann, Tobias van Dieken, Pit Bukowski, Akeem van Flodrop, Merlin Sandmeyer and Sky du Mont. The sequel just opened in German theaters yesterday.
