Tiny Records has released a soundtrack album for the sci-fi thriller Descendent. The album features the film’s original music composed by Tyler Strickland (Sly, Audrie & Daisy, The American Meme, Faye, Trial by Media, Changing the Game, Navajo Police: Class 57). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track after the jump. Descendent is written and directed by Peter Cilella and stars Ross Marquand, Sarah Bolger, Susan Wilder, Charlene Amoia, Brandon Scott, Dan O’Brien and Alexandra Barreto. The movie produced by Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead is set in present-day Los Angeles and follows a troubled school security guard preparing for the birth of his first child who experiences strange visions after a mysterious light appears in the sky and races to face his demons before his growing obsession consumes him. The thriller premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and is being released in select theaters this weekend by RLJE Films before coming out on VOD next Friday, August 15.
