Leo Birenberg (Cobra Kai, BottomsWeird: The Al Yankovic Story, Jurassic World: Camp CretaceousSon of Zorn, Florida Man) has teamed up with Ramiro Zamarripa (How to Rob a Bank) to score the upcoming documentary The Man Who Saves the World? The film is written, directed and produced by Gabe Polsky and tells the story of Patrick McCollum, a spiritual leader and peace advocate who finds himself at the very center of an ancient prophecy that could decide the fate of our planet. Peter Farrelly (Green Book, There’s Something About Mary), Danny McBride & Jody Hill (Eastbound & Down, The Righteous Gemstone) and David Gordon Green (Halloween, Pineapple Express) are among the project’s executive producers. Birenberg has previously collaborated with Polsky on the documentaries Red Army (co-scored with Christophe Beck), In Search of Greatness & Red Penguins and the narrative feature, Butcher’s Crossing. The Man Who Saves the World? will be released in select theaters starting on October 17 by Area 23a.

Birenberg also continues to score Netflix’s Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, which will return for its fourth season on November 20 and co-score Peacock’s Twisted Metal, which will return for its second season this Thursday, as well as Disney+’s Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, which will also return for a second season.
