Chris Roe (The Salt Path, Blue Jean, After Love, Payback, Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue, Trigger Point, Wolf, Lancaster) has composed the original score for the upcoming British satirical thriller Bad Apples. The film is directed by Jonatan Etzler (One More Time) and stars Saoirse Ronan, Sean Gilder, Kerry Howard and Eddie Waller. The movie is loosely based on Rasmus Andersson’s debut novel De Oönskare and follows a primary school teacher who forced to take drastic action because of a violent, foul-mouthed student, and uncovers how her community will turn a blind eye to the most outrageous events to preserve harmony and their sense of safety. Jess O’Kane wrote the screenplay. Oskar Pimlott is producing the project for Pulse Films. Bad Apples will premiere this September at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival.
