Cinevox Records has released a soundtrack album for the sci-fi drama Milarepa. The album features the film’s original music composed by Andrea Guerra (The Pursuit of Happiness, Letters to Juliet, Extraordinary Measures, Playing the Field). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first track (A New Master) below. Milarepa is written and directed by Louis Nero and stars Isabelle Allen, Harvey Keitel, F. Murray Abraham, Franco Nero, Angela Molina, Hal Yamanouchi, Diana Dell’Erba, Iazua Larios, Bruno Bilotta and Michael Ronda. The movie is based the eponymous 11th Century Buddhist saint and follows the teenage title character a as she turns herself into a boy to learn a form of magical art to avenge those who did harm to her family. The drama was released in Italian theaters last month. No word yet on a domestic release.
