Jeff Danna (The Good Dinosaur, Onward, Tyrant, Alias Grace, The Boondock Saints, The Addams Family, Camelot, Silent Hill, Storks) has composed the original music for the upcoming Netflix original series The Hunting Wives. The show is created by Rebecca Cutter (Hightown) and stars Brittany Snow, Malin Akerman, Jaime Ray Newman, George Ferrier, Evan Jonigkeit, Chrissy Metz, Katie Lowes, Dermot Mulroney, Chosen Jacobs and Branton Box. The dramatic thriller is based on May Cobb’s bestselling novel of the same title and follows a woman who trades city life for East Texas and falls into a wealthy socialite’s magnetic orbit, where a clique of housewives hide deadly secrets. Cutter is also executive producing the Lionsgate Television and 3 Arts Entertainment production with Erwin Stoff (Edge of Tomorrow, The Serpent Queen). Danna has previously scored the Stoff-produced Max series Julia. The Hunting Wives will premiere on July 21 exclusively on Netflix.
