Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original film The Old Guard 2. The album features the movie’s original score composed by Ruth Barrett (Bodyguard, The Terminal List, The Decameron, Victoria, Sanditon) & Steffen Thum (Crawl, Slingshot, Betrayal, Stockholm Bloodbat) and produced by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, His Dark Materials, Black Widow, Black Adam, The Wheel of Time). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 2 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. A first track (Sacrifice) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out after the jump. The Old Guard 2 is directed by Victoria Mahoney and stars Charlize Theron, KiKi Layne, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Uma Thurman, Matthias Schoenaerts, Marwan Kenzari, Veronica Ngô, Luca Marinelli and Henry Golding. The sequel follows Andy and her team of immortal warriors as they return to protect humanity from a new enemy who threatens their existence. The film based on the world created by Greg Rucka and illustrator Leandro Fernandez will premiere tomorrow exclusively on Netflix.
