Silva Screen Records has released a soundtrack album for the Italian drama In the Mirror (Mi fanno male i capelli). The album features the film’s original music composed by Shigeru Umebayashi (In the Mood for Love, House of Flying Daggers, 2046, The Grandmaster, Curse of the Golden Flowers). In the Mirror is written and directed by Roberta Torre and stars Alba Rohrwacher, Filippo Timi, Marina Rocco, Valentina Banci and Giovanni Cannata. The movie follows a woman who loses her memory and finds new meaning in her life by identifying with the various film characters played by actress Monica Vitti. The drama opened in Italian theaters in late 2023 following a premiere at the Rome Film Festival. No word on a domestic release.
