Music Box Records has announced a new soundtrack album featuring three expanded and newly remastered original scores composed by Academy Award nominee Philippe Sarde (The Tenant, Quest for Fire, Lord of the Flies, Tess,Pirates, Ghost Story, Nelly & Monsieur Arnaud, Barocco). The titles include the 1981 romantic drama Hotel America (Hôtel des Amériques) co-written and directed by André Téchiné and starring Catherine Deneuve and Patrick Dewaere, the 1980 drama A Bad Son (Un mauvais fils) co-written and directed by Claude Sautet and starring Patrick Dewaere, Yves Robert & Brigitte Fossey, as well as the 1986 crime drama Scene of the Crime (Le Lieu du crime) co-written and directed by Téchiné and starring Catherine Deneuve, Danielle Darrieux, Wadeck Stanczak and Victor Lanoux. The limited edition CD is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Scene of the Crime is currently available to stream on Cineverse.
