Pterodactyl Scene will release a soundtrack album for the thriller Electra. The album features the film’s original score composed by Ali Helnwein (StrayDarlin’, No Way to Live, This Much We KnowHospitalityBrut Force). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 7 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first track (Hotel Room) below. Electra is co-written and directed by Hala Matar and stars Maria Bakalova, Abigail Cowen, Jack Farthing and Daryl Wein. The movie follows an American couple who travels to Italy to interview a fading rockstar at his girlfriend’s opulent countryside estate, but their glamorous escape becomes a labyrinth of unspoken desires, tortured relationships, and dark secrets.
