XXIM Records has released a soundtrack album for the British coming-of-age drama Last Swim. The album features the film’s original music composed by Federico Albanese (Autumn Beat, Shadow in the Distance, Sei fratelli). The soundtrack is now available to stream in the U.S. on Spotify and in most other major markets on all major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first two tracks below. Last Swim is co-written and directed by Sasha Nathwani and stars Deba Hekmat, Solly McLeod, Jay Lycurgo, Lydia Fleming and Denzel Baidoo. The movie is set over a hot summer day in London and follows a British-Iranian teen as she leads her friends on an eventful journey across the city, culminating in a once in a lifetime astronomical event. The drama, which premiered at last year’s Berlin Film Festival, has just been released in the UK earlier this month by Vertigo Releasing and is set to open in select U.S. theaters this summer.
