Ruth Barrett (Bodyguard, Victoria, The Decameron, Sanditon, The Terminal List, Collateral, Harry Brown)) and David Schweitzer (Emma, The Afterparty, Tsunami: Race Against Time, The Reluctant Traveler, Our Great National Parks) are the composers of the new CW drama Sherlock & Daughter. The show is created by Brendan Foley (Legend of the Bog) and stars David Thewlis (as Sherlock Holmes), Blu Hunt and Dougray Scott (as Moriarty). The mystery thriller series follows a young American who learns that her missing father may be the legendary detective and – despite wildly different backgrounds and attitudes – must team up to solve a global conspiracy and crack her mother’s murder. Foley is also executive producing he Starlings Television Distribution, Albion Television & StoryFirst production with showrunner James Duff (Star Trek: Picard, The Closer), as well as Karine Martin (The Moth Diaries, Outcast), Chris Philip (Pandora, Departure), Peter Gerwe, Dominic Barlow (The Mill) and Ivan Dunleavy. Sherlock & Daughter will premiere this Wednesday, April 16 on The CW.
