Back Lot Music will release the official soundtrack album for the thriller Drop. The album features the film’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner Bear McCreary (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Happy Death Day, 10 Cloverfield Lane, The Walking Dead, Freaky, Battlestar Galactica, God of War). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 11 (visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download). Drop is directed by Christopher Landon and stars Meghann Fahy, Brandon Sklenar, Violett Beane, Reed Diamond, Jacob Robinson, Gabrielle Ryan, Ed Weeks, Jeffery Self and Travis Nelson. The Blumhouse production revolves around a widowed mother who goes on her first date in years and is relieved that her date is more handsome and charming than she expected, when she begins being irritated and then terrorized by a series of anonymous drops to her phone. The movie premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Universal Pictures.
