Recordjet will release a soundtrack album for the German thriller Turning Tables (Klandestin). The album features the film’s original music composed by Freya Arde (The Corridors of Power, The Hidden Life of Trees, Riefenstahl, My Extraordinary Summer with Tess, Ever After, Almost Fly). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 9 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track below. Turning Tables is written and directed by Angelina Maccarone and stars Habib Adda, Barbara Sukowa, Banafshe Hourmazdi and Lambert Wilson. The movie follows a conservative politician whose ideological and private loyalties collide when she gets asked to hide a young Moroccan who has entered the EU illegally. The thriller premiered at the 2024 Munich Film Festival (and screened at various other festivals over the last year) and will be released in German theaters on April 24. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
