Heitor Pereira (Despicable Me, Minions, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, The Smurfs, Smallfoot, Paw Patrol: The Movie) is set to return to score the upcoming animated sequel The Angry Birds Movie 3. The film is directed by John Rice (who previously helmed the first installment) and features the voices of Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Rachel Bloom & Danny McBride who are all reprising their roles from the first two movies. They are joined by new voice cast members Emma Myers, Keke Palmer, Tim Robinson, Marcello Hernandez, Sam Richardson, Walker Scobell, Anna Cathcart, Nikki Glaser, James Austin Johnson, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Psalm West. Thurop Van Orman (who directed the first sequel) wrote the screenplay. John Cohen (The Garfield Movie, Big Nate), Dan Chuba (Supernova, Outback) and Carla Connor are producing the Rovio Entertainment & Sega production. Pereira has previously scored the original 2016 movie and its 2019 sequel. The Angry Birds Movie 3 is scheduled to be released in theaters nationwide on January 29, 2027 by Paramount Pictures.
