Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the drama The Actor. The album features the film’s original music composed by Richard Reed Parry (of Arcade Fire) (The Iron ClawEileenThe Nest). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, March 28 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track below and click here to check out the project’s music team credits. The Actor is co-written and directed by Duke Johnson and stars André Holland, Gemma Chan, Tracey Ullman, Toby Jones, Simon McBurney and Joe Cole. The movie based on the novel Memory by Donald E. Westlake follows a man who gets stranded in a mysterious small town with no memory of who he is or how he got here and – without a sense of identity or purpose – starts from scratch and begins courting a local costume designer. The drama was released in select theaters earlier this month by Neon.
