Wendy Wang (American Born Chinese, Clipped, How to Die Alone, Doogie Kamealoha, M.D., Man Up) is the composer of the new Hulu original series Mid-Century Modern. The show is created by Max Mutchnick & David Kohan (Will & Grace) and stars Nathan Lane, Matt Bomer, Nathan Lee Graham and Linda Lavin. The comedy follows three best friends – gay gentlemen of a certain age – who, after an unexpected death, decide to spend their golden years living together in Palm Springs where the wealthiest one lives with his mother. Mutchnick & Kohan and Lane & Bomer are also executive producing the 20th Television production with Ryan Murphy (Glee, American Horror Story, Nip/Tuck), as well as James Burrows (Cheers, Mike & Molly) who also serves as director. Mid-Century Modern will premiere this Friday, March 28 exclusively on Hulu.
Wang’s other recent projects include Onyx Collective’s Hulu series Deli Boys, which just premiered earlier this month.
