Plaza Mayor Company has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish comedy drama Breaking Walls (Los aitas). The album features the film’s original music composed by Aránzazu Calleja (The Platform, Birdboy: The Forgotten Children, Coven, Irati). Breaking Walls is co-written and directed by Borja Cobeaga and stars Quim Gutiérrez, Juan Diego Botto, Iñaki Ardanaz, Ramón Barea, Mikel Losada and Laura Weissmahr. The movie follows a group of fathers who must chaperone their daughters at a rhythmic gymnastics tournament in Berlin, despite having no experience or enthusiasm for the sport. The dramedy premiered at this year’s Malaga Film Festival and just opened in Spanish theaters this past weekend.
