Octopus Records has released a soundtrack album for the political Italian thriller The Negotiator (Il Nibbio). The album features the film’s original music composed by Paolo Vivaldi (Ghost Son, Tainted Souls, Barabbas, As Needed). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track after the jump. The Negotiator is directed by Alessandro Tonda and stars Claudio Santamaria, Sonia Bergamasco and Anna Ferzetti. The movie recounts the 28 days leading up to the tragic events of March 4, 2005, when Italian Secret Services director Nicola Calipari sacrificed his life to save Giuliana Sgrena, a journalist kidnapped in Iraq by a terrorist cell.
