Claudio Olachea has made his narrative feature scoring debut on the upcoming action comedy Bride Hard. Atli Örvarsson (Silo, Vantage Point) has produced Olachea’s score for the film directed by Simon West (Con Air, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider) and starring Rebel Wilson, Anna Camp, Anna Chlumsky, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Stephen Dorff, Gigi Zumbado and Justin Hartley. The movie follows a highly skilled secret agent attending her best friend’s wedding, when a mercenary group attempts to take the lavish wedding hostage. Shaina Steinberg wrote the screenplay. Balcony 9’s Joel David Moore (The Immaculate Room, Some Other Woman) is producing the project with Colleen Camp (Above Suspicion, An American Rhapsody), Cassian Elwes (The Butler, Mudbound), Max Osswald (Bad Blood) and Jason Ross Jallet (Die in a Gunfight, Big Gold Brick). Olachea has previously scored numerous shorts and provided additional music to several films and TV shows scored by Örvarsson (The Hitman’s Bodyguard, Defending Jacob) and Ruth Barrett (The Decameron, Big Beas). Bride Hard will be released in theaters nationwide on June 20, 2025 by Magenta Light Studios.
