Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the Italian Netflix limited series The Leopard (Il Gattopardo). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Paolo Buonvino (Medici, Fathers & Daughters, Fatima, Romanzo Criminale, Here Now, Quiet Chaos). The Leopard is created by Richard Warlow based on based on Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa’s classic novel of the same name and stars Kim Rossi Stuart, Benedetta Porcaroli, Deva Cassel, Francesco Colella, Saul Nanni, Paolo Calabresi and Astrid Meloni. The 6-part period drama is set amid the unification of 1860s Italy and follows a Sicilian prince as he grapples with the collision between his family’s ancient privilege and revolutionary change. The series will premiere tomorrow, March 5 exclusively on Netflix.
