B Original has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Missing from Fire Trail Road. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christophe La Pinta (Through the Fire, The State of Texas vs. Melissa, SK1Un flicAnything for Alice) & Antone George. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first score track and their (original) MMIW Song (feat. vocals by Cheryl George) below. Missing from Fire Trail Road is directed by Sabrina Van Tassel and details the case of Mary Ellen Johnson-Davis, a Native American woman who disappeared in 2020. The movie exposes how hundreds of indigenous women continue to go missing in the U.S., perpetuating trans-generational trauma on Indian reservations. The documentary, which premiered at last year’s Tribeca Film Festival, was released in select U.S. theaters last fall by FilmRise and is now also available on VOD, Bluray and DVD.
