Moviescores Records has released a soundtrack album for the German fantasy family adventure A Girl Named Willow (Ein Mädchen namens Willow). The album features the film’s original music composed by Fabian Römer (Generation War, Perfume, The Door, The Young Chief Winnetou). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. A Girl Named Willow is directed by Mike Marzuk and stars Ava Petsch, Cora Trube, Anna von Seld, Golo Euler, Mary Tölle, Diana Amft, Sibylle Canonica and Max Giermann. The movie is based on the bestselling novel series by Sabine Bohlmann and tells the story of a girl who discovers a letter revealing her witch heritage and must awaken her witchcraft and save her great-aunt’s magical forest with the help of three other witches before time runs out and tragedy strikes. The Constantin Film production just opened in German theaters this past Thursday. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
