Legacy Recordings has announced the first stand-alone soundtrack release for the 1972 concert film/documentary Pink Floyd at Pompeii – MCMLXXII (aka Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii) directed by Adrian Maben. The album features the live performances (recorded in the ruins of the ancient Roman Amphitheatre in Pompeii, Italy) from the movie, which has been digitally remastered and remixed by Steven Wilson, as well as two additional tracks, including a previously unreleased extended version of A Saucerful Of Secrets. The soundtrack will be released digitally digitally and physically (as a 2-CD and double vinyl set) and on May 2. Visit Amazon to pre-order the album in all formats.
