Filmtrax/Atlantic Screen Music will release a soundtrack album for Osgood Perkins’ horror comedy The Monkey. The album features the film’s original music composed by Edo Van Breemen (Air, Afflicted, The Backward Class, Hollow in the Land). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 21 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The Monkey is co-written and directed by Perkins and stars Theo James, Tatiana Maslany, Christian Convery, Sarah Levy, Elijah Wood, Rohan Campbell and Colin O’Brien. The movie is based on Stephen King’s short story of the same title about two twin brothers who find a mysterious wind-up monkey that causes series of outrageous deaths. The comedy is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Neon.
