Composer Cornel Wilczek (Apple Cider Vinegar, Clickbait, These Final Hours, Nowhere Boys, Glitch, The Mule, Cut Snake) is reuniting with directors Danny and Michael Philippou on the upcoming supernatural horror thriller Bring Her Back. The film starring Sally Hawkins, Billy Barrat, Sora Wong, Sally-Anne Upton & Jonah Wren Phillips follows a brother and sister as they uncover a terrifying ritual at the secluded home of their new foster mother. Danny Philippou also co-wrote the screenplay with Bill Hinzman. Samantha Jennings (Went Up the Hill, Blaze) and Kristina Ceyton (The Nightingale) are producing the project for Causeway Films. Wilczek has previously scored the directors’ first feature, Talk to Me. Bring Her Back will be released in theaters nationwide on May 30, 202 by A24.
Wilczek’s other recent feature projects include Michael Shanks’ Together, which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and has been picked up by Neon for a theatrical release this year.
