Torin Borrowdale (Searching, Run, Descendants: The Rise of Red, Spring, The Toll) has been tapped to score the upcoming Netflix original series Pulse. The show is created by Zoe Robyn and stars Willa Fitzgerald, Colin Woodell, Justina Machado, Jessie T. Usher, Jack Bannon, Chelsea Muirhead, Jessy Yates, Daniela Nieves, Jessica Rothe, Néstor Carbonell, Santiago Segura, Ash Santos and Arturo Del Puerto. The medical drama is set at Miami’s busiest Level 1 Trauma Center and follows a young ER doctor who is unexpectedly promoted to Chief Resident amidst the fallout of her own provocative romantic relationship. Robyn is also executive producing the project with Carlton Cuse (Lost, Nash Bridges), Bradley Gardner (Heathers, Teachers), Emma Forman, Michael Klick (Homeland, Love & Death) and Kate Dennis (Run). Borrowdale has previously scored the Cuse-produced Locke & Key and Five Days at Memorial. Pulse will premiere on April 3, 2025 exclusively on Netflix.
