22D Music has released a soundtrack album for the animated feature Hola Frida. The album features the film’s original score composed by Laetitia Pansanel-Garric (Pamfir, The Monster of Many Monsters, Sophia Loren, une destinée particulière). Also included is the original title song written by Olivia Ruig & Pansanel-Garric and performed by Ruig. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Hola Frida is directed by André Kadi & Karine Vézina and tells a fictionalized story of the childhood adventures of real-life artist Frida Kahlo, growing up in Coyoacán, Mexico City as she overcomes adversity by using her vibrant imagination. The animated movie produced by Dandelooo premiered at last year’s Morelia International Film Festival and is opening in French theaters today.
