Lena Raine, best known for her music for video game titles such as Celeste, Guild Wars 2, Minecraft & Harmony: The Fall of Reverie, is making her feature scoring debut on the upcoming indie drama Outerlands. The film is written and directed by Elena Oxman and stars Asia Kate Dillon, Louisa Krause, Ridley Asha Bateman, Daniel K. Isaac, Lea DeLaria, Melinda Meeng, Allie Heng, Safia Fredericks, Winter Dewitt and Sedrick Cabrera. The movie follows a gig worker in San Francisco who has to confront the truth of their own tumultuous childhood when asked by an alluring woman to watch her 11-year-old daughter while she goes out of town. Oxman & Dillon are also producing the project with Marc Smolowitz, Allison Estrin and Henry Russell Bergstein. Outerlands will premiere this March at the 2025 SXSW Film Festival.
